Crawlspace Cleanouts

Arealty Pest Control is affiliated with Eastside Crawlspace Cleanup, a company which specializes in returning crawlspaces and attics to their proper condition. These areas are often neglected, and frequently in our line of work, we encounter areas in which the conditions are deplorable. Insulation has been displaced, or fouled with rodent droppings, urine, food caches, and corpses; air ducts have been nibbled into and/or nested in; vapor barriers are improperly set down, or nonexistent; rotting wood chunks litter the crawlspace soil; vents are improperly placed or blocked; excessive moisture has caused or is causing rot problems in the structural wood………and these are only some of the most common problems.

Problems such as these need to be addressed. Rodent messes are very unsanitary, and the airborne dust from dried droppings can be a factor in many respiratory diseases, including hantavirus. Rotting wood is an attractant for most wood-destroying insect pests. Moisture problems, left uncorrected, can cause extensive and costly damage to the structure.

Eastside Crawlspace Cleanout removes ruined insulation and assorted debris, installs new insulation, lays new vapor barriers, fixes and re-insulates heat ducts, trenches the crawlspace soil and installs gravity drains and sump pumps, sanitizes and disinfects, and performs many other actions which may be needed.
